The December 2019 LME2 Elections were held on December 1st 2019. They featured elections for the President and Vice-president, all three classes of the Senate, and the House of Representatives. The primaries were held on the 27th of November, with primaries runoffs taking place on the 29th, and general election runoffs happening on the December 3rd.
There were 2 major parties registered: the Democratic Party (D), and the Republican Party (R). For the presidential primaries, Amazer was selected as the republican candidate while being unopposed in the primaries. Vui ran as an independent, even though he received the democratic nomination through write-ins votes, while no other candidate ran in the party. Gus also ran as an independent. For the Vice-presidential election, Paul ran unopposed as an independent.
Vui won by a landslide, though less impressive than expected. He won on his ticket with Paul, unopposed for Vice-President. Democrats reached a plurality of votes and seats in both the House of Representatives and the Senate, but independents control the balance of power nontheless. The Midwest Party was the third party to win a seat.

National results
The Democratic party did not have any candidate running, so Vui won the nomination by write-in. The Republican party nominated their only candidate, Amazer. After averaging at around 25% in the polls, Amazer managed to get a slight surge close to a third of the votes, nearly winning the Southeast region.
Paul was the only candidate to run, he therefore won unopposed.
The Democratic party got first, with the results close to being proportional, and with one seat still waiting for a runoff. The Overseas region was considered as having two swing seats, one of which was won by a single vote margin.
The Democratic Party was able to come first, while the independents and Republican party tied up on the votes count. With still one runoff awaiting, no party reached an overall majority.
